Directory & Book Services (DABS) is well known for its confidential
mail-order service for people who've been abused, and those who
live or work with them. Books and information for adults who were
abused as children, for counsellors and workers, and for anyone
affected by child abuse.
DABS National Resource Directory is a comprehensive and up-to-date
directory of specialist services in England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland
and Northern Ireland. It lists over 550 organisations working for
recovery from, or prevention of, child sexual abuse. It includes
descriptions of telephone helplines, self-help groups, Rape Crisis
Centres, statutory services, etc. It covers services for women,
men, children, parents and workers. Full contact details are given,
plus the hours of operation, the services offered and any restrictions. |
